To explore how we can pave this path forward, IAAS Nepal LC AFU is hosting a virtual session on "Regenerative Agriculture Transition for Nepal".
We are excited to welcome Madan Poudel, the Founding National Director of IAAS Nepal, as our guest speaker. With his background in BSc.Ag and an MBA in Agribusiness, he’ll be diving into the practical steps, challenges, and opportunities for regenerative farming in Nepal.
Mr. Poudel delivered an insightful presentation on the critical need for sustainable, regenerative practices to transform Nepal's agricultural landscape. The event wrapped up with an engaging Q&A session, followed by the presentation of a Certificate of Appreciation to honor his valuable time and contribution.

We took a deep dive into the critical question: "Food Wastage: Price Control or Poor Planning—Who is responsible?" From the insightful opening ceremony to the heated arguments in the debate hall, the passion for finding sustainable solutions in agriculture was truly inspiring.
Partnered with Students for Liberty Nepal for a sharp, thought-provoking debate on policy vs. price control at the PG Seminar Hall.

Theme: “Beyond Borders: Youth Exchange for Sustainable Agri-Food Systems”
This collaboration is all about bridging the gap, bringing together indigenous agricultural wisdom and modern AgTech. We’ll be diving into how youth-led innovation can scale traditional practices and address the pressing challenges within our agri-food systems.

Celebrating 69 Years of IAAS with Action!
To mark the 69th Anniversary of the International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences (IAAS), IAAS Nepal LC AFU and IAAS Nepal LC Rampur Campus came together for a meaningful celebration!
We believe that as future agricultural leaders, our responsibility starts with our environment. We successfully conducted a General Interaction and Cleanliness Program at the Narayani Riverside to give back to our community and promote a cleaner, greener world.
From cutting the anniversary cake to picking up litter, every moment was a step toward a better future.

IAAS NEPAL LC AFU has successfully completed the interactive exchange with IAAS Turkiye that featured an interaction, showcasing LC's history, activities and upcoming plan, cultural exchange and exciting games with vibrant participation of more than 40 members. It was really an unique opportunity to embrace diversity, connect with people and celebrate the beauty of cultures.

IAAS Nepal LC AFU, in collaboration with IAAS Nepal LC HICAST, is delighted to announce an Online Exchange Event aimed at fostering insightful discussions on sustainable and resilient agricultural systems.
This exchange program will revolve around the theme “Sustainable Agriculture for Resilient Cities and Thriving Communities”, highlighting key perspectives on rural–urban agricultural linkages, food security, local economies, and innovative urban farming approaches such as terrace farming and soil-based rooftop systems.

We successfully hosted "AgriPitch: Learn to Pitch Your Passion", a virtual event to enhance pitching skills for aspiring agri-entrepreneurs.
Keynote speaker Mr. Krishna Hari Tiwari shared practical tips on clarity, confidence, structure, and storytelling for impactful pitches.
