With immense enthusiasm and teamwork, IAAS Nepal LC AFU in collaboration with ASLF successfully celebrated National Rice Day (Asar 15,2083) at Fulbari.
The program featured rice transplantation, soil testing, an informative presentation session, and exciting recreational activities that highlighted the significance of rice cultivation in Nepal.

IAAS Nepal LC AFU, in collaboration with the Faculty of Agriculture (FOA), AFU, and hosted by the Department of Agribotany and Conservation Ecology, brings you an incredible lineup of events dedicated to celebrating and protecting our ecosystem.
From artistic storytelling to hands-on conservation, we have a diverse day planned for our university community:

At IAAS Nepal LC AFU, we believe that every field has a story to tell, and our members are ready to bring those stories to life.
We have divided our 30 dedicated general members into three powerhouse teams of 10. Their mission? To capture "The Story of Innovation in Every Field" through the art of drama.
This isn't just about technical skills—it’s about the passion, teamwork, and the creative spirit that defines our local committee. These groups are currently working behind the scenes to produce cinematic glimpses into the future of agriculture, and the results are going to be highly appreciable.

Precision in Planning: Mastering the Budget
The foundation of any successful project starts with a solid budget. IAAS Nepal LC AFU recently wrapped up an insightful session on "Preliminary Budget Preparation: Concept and Practices" with CA Pemba Tamang.
From the "3-Way Math Check" to managing budget variance, we explored how to turn a project concept into a financially feasible reality. It was a deep dive into the practical side of resource allocation-ensuring every goal is backed by a clear cost baseline.

Visit to Local Exchange Site Muktinath Krishi Company
We are thrilled to announce that IAAS Nepal LC AFU has organized a visit to Muktinath Krishi Company Limited at Bharatpur-23, Chitwan!
This visit offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial practice. From observing advanced fertilizer making technique to commercial seed production and seed processing and large-scale storage facilities to engaging in hands-on field discussions about modern crop management, the day was packed with practical insights.

Each short video in this campaign will focus on one crop — one problem — and one practical solution. We’ll also be sharing slogans, common misconceptions, and helpful tips so farmers and students alike can learn, reflect, and apply accurate knowledge in real-life farming situations.

IAAS Nepal LC AFU proudly concludes its online campaign “KNOW THE SIGNS, SAVE THE FARM,” conducted with an incredible participation of 78 enthusiastic learners from Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU) Rampur Chitwan.

‎Through a series of engaging and informative posters highlighting causative organisms, key symptoms, and effective preventive measures, the campaign successfully raised awareness on major crop, livestock, and aquaculture diseases. This initiative emphasized one powerful message: Preventing loss begins with awareness. 🌱

‎Participants actively expanded their understanding of early disease detection and practical farm health management - strengthening our shared mission of protecting farms, improving productivity, and supporting community resilience.
